This was our third wonderful trip to Portland. “Beervana” indeed. Another case of waaaaay too much to do and not enough time. In fact, I got a bit overloaded towards the end. Too much of a good thing is a good problem to have…? This is another post dug out of my personal Facebook account … Continue reading Put a Nerd on It: Portland Trip Megapost – August 2012
I heard about PappaRoti last year and wondered, “What makes these buns different from typical Chinese bakery buns like pineapple buns and mexico buns?” So naturally, I found out.
We were so happy with brunch at Ask for Luigi that we went back for dinner. Followed by ice cream at Earnest Ice Cream! It was a salty and sweet affair…

Nowadays, there are lots of places to get decent-to-pretty-good tacos (Tacofino and the current king La Taqueria) but back then it was the next … Continue reading Chilo’s Taqueria: Kickstarting the Vancouver Taco Revolution
Our third time eating at La Pentola, and first time trying their regular dinner menu. Delicious and dependable! Thanks you-know-who for the xmas gift certificate!
