I heard about PappaRoti last year and wondered, “What makes these buns different from typical Chinese bakery buns like pineapple buns and mexico buns?” So naturally, I found out.
We were so happy with brunch at Ask for Luigi that we went back for dinner. Followed by ice cream at Earnest Ice Cream! It was a salty and sweet affair…
Wandered into The Portside Pub while waiting for Alibi Room to open on a Thursday afternoon and saw that they changed their menu to a more Nova Scotia-focused one. Before they had fun snacky stuff like dim sum, hot dogs (“red hots”) and popcorn. Now, sadly, that’s all gone.
Our food & beer adventures in SF! There’s so much to do there, we’ll have to go back soon! This trip was all about having too much on our list to do, but being relaxed and open-minded enough to just let things happen and take chances when they come up!
I’ve been trying to get out to Port Moody to try Rehanah’s Roti since 2008 and both times I tried she was closed. Finally, on a cold, miserable, rainy Saturday I suffered through the 2.5 hour round trip on transit and got my hands on a WET GOAT ROTI.
