Brassneck Brewery finally opens!

Nigel (Alibi Room) & Conrad (ex-Steamworks) finally opened up their Brassneck Brewery (@brassneckbrew) on Main St. & 6th Ave. It’s dope!!!

Brassneck is a Brewery + Growler Shop + Tasting Room! They just opened yesterday. Today (Thursday) is their first day open.

One of the walls.

View of the tasting room. It was packed and very busy.

Lots of bottles/growlers for sale.

This way to the tasting room!

Counter at the growler filling station.

Cute boston rounds.

I hope the underwear is a joke.

It’s a dream come true! (NOTE: their hours have changed since they first opened.)

Their opening day beers.

L-R: Brassneck Ale (Pale Ale – 5%), Conrad vs Cowboy Dan (Wet-hopped Belgian Pale Ale – 6%), Passive Aggressive (Single Hop Extra Pale Ale – 7%), and Small Wonder (“Table” Saison – 4.5%).

Cowboy Dan was a bit disappointing compared to the other three (which I’d have no problem buying whole growlers of). Passive Aggressive was the standout. Incredible that it’s a single-hop beer because I got elements of floral and fruitiness with great balance and flavour. Aggressive in a passive way!

Long table/counter in the tasting room. Spot the CAMRA Vancouver person!

I pressed it multiple times.

They had 8 beers on. They could potentially do 12 at a time 🙂

They have 12 dedicated growler-filling “Blichmann beer guns”.

I got a couple growlers to enjoy at home 🙂

View of the growler counter from outside.

You can see right into the brewery from the street.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.

Bottom line:

Thank you.
